Ch. Highland Kendoric Ice Storm

Picture

Elena was a lucky purchase for us at Pekeapug.  Pam Donaldson and Doris Aldrich are two of the greatest breeders in the pug world.  They only want to breed the best.  Elena comes from Ch. Webb's Texas Tornado (deceased) and Ch. Kesander's Ramona Quimby.  In 2010, Elena was #1 Bitch, #1 Black, and #7 Pug (results per Canuckdogs.com). She always looked for me and could only be shown by me if I was around.  Her other handlers were Marj Brown, Natasha Taphorn, who took her to the USA and pointed her there and lastly Trudy Taphorn.  Elena loved to show for Trudy and showed her heart out.  Many judges found her and her first  Best of Breed win will never be forgotten, I was thrilled to say the least.
Elena left the show ring in 2011 to be a mom.  This is where Leo came from.  We look forward to doing the repeat breeding in 2012 to Am/Can Ch. Dejo Black Tie Affair.

Ch. Pekeapug's Aqui Soy

Picture

I bred Sofi, Aqui Soy means Here I am.    She is out of Caravelle's Bach to Blues x Aisle's Abbey in Wonderland, Abbey's second litter.  Sofi has been a joy for me.  She was a singleton, which means she was the only puppy in the litter.  She is my best friend and goes every where with me.  The picture of her here is when she was a puppy.  Sofi finished her Canadian Championship and had one litter of four babies, three boys and one girl.  Sofi will remain with me forever..... She is a retired mom and Champion...

Aisle's Abbey in Wonderland

Picture

Abbey was our first black girl.  Abbey was diagnosed with cancer and given a very short time to live.  We are pleased to report that Abbey has more than survived the six months she was given and has been with us for four more years and strong.
