Pekeapug Kennels, for the love of black pugs....

Picture

With many goals on our minds for each new coming year, the goal of Pekeapug Black Pugs is to breed Quality.  We are not interested in breeding quanitity but improving the quality of the black pugs around the world.  I have had many friends help me in this project.  Started off with Mrs. Bev Anderson, Timepieces Pugs/French Bulldogs.  Bev trusted me with my first pug, Mulder.  Ch.Timepieces XFiles Main Man.  Mulder was the only fawn that I have owned and loved to this day.  Then we adopted a black male from the local SPCA and our hearts were moved to the "dark side" of the pug world.

Next, we purchased a registered black pug from Isabel Light.  Aisle's Abbey in Wonderland did not like the show ring, so after two years, we bred her to C-Ray's Slamdunk of Aisle.  She produced five beautiful babies.  Abbey had two litters and as you explore you will meet her kids.
We then met Cate Beels from Catebydesign who assisted us in developing previous webpages, we will always be eternally grateful for her friendship and her talent.
In a chance that we could improve the black line, our friend Leanna Mottus, of Xoe's Pugs allowed us to use MBIS, MBISS Am/Can Ch. Xoe's Oscar de la Hoya.  Oscar and Sofi produced four kids... you will meet them as well.
Pam Donaldson and Doris Aldrich of Highland Kendoric Kennels were next to come into our lives.  We are so blessed to have them as our friends and that they trusted us with Elena.
Finally Dagmar Skala of AylaVista Pugs.. Dag and I met through the Pug Club of Canada.  Dag at the time was the director of Rescue for Canada.  Upon many conversations, pictures shared we became very close friends.  I look forward to a long and happy relationship with Dag.
As
you explore the pages of Pekeapug Kennels you will learn more about us and our breeding plans.   Make sure you go to the More tab as we have many pictures there.... We are happy to have you here and hope you enjoy our site.  If you wish to contact us please do not hesitate.  We have a blog here that we would love to hear from you or you can email me at Pekeapug2005@aol.com.
